Cincinnati Bengals Depth Chart 2022: Current Roster, Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams Posted on August 7, 2022 by Jack Marks When the Cincinnati Bengals’ training camp got underway on Wednesday, July 25, they started their quest for a Super Bowl victory. The Bengals, who made it to Super Bowl LVI last season, had a busy summer adding players through the draft and free agency. There will be 12 public practices, including the Back Together Saturday sold-out event at Paul Brown Stadium on July 30. The Cincinnati Bengals have a tonne of underappreciated talent on their roster, despite the fact that Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Trey Hendrickson, and Sam Hubbard receives most of the attention. Although training camp and the preseason will make these choices a little bit simpler, the Bengals’ ability to add to a Super Bowl roster means that every rep counts and that forecasts aren’t straightforward. There are no major surprises here because Allen is trusted by the Bengals to function adequately within the confines of the scheme. All other applicants are beaten out for the position by his experience. Given that it’s reasonable to assume both Evans and Williams might take on larger, more impactful roles next season, it will be intriguing to see if a lesser-known player can seriously challenge Perine for a roster place.
