- SEAInjured Noah Fant, DeeJay Dallas Active Against Niners
Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (knee) and running back DeeJay Dallas (ankle, quadriceps) are both active for the wild-card game on Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. Fant and Dallas were listed as questionable to play, but they'll both be active in a tough matchup against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Fant will be on the cheap side in DFS, but he's touchdown-dependent. In the two previous matchups against San Fran in 2022, he caught seven of his eight targets for 43 yards and one touchdown. Rookie Kenneth Walker III is the unquestioned lead back in Seattle's backfield, so there will be very few snaps and touches available for Dallas on Saturday. He should be avoided in playoff leagues in this one.

Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas (ankle, quad) was considered questionable after being listed as limited in the team's practice on Thursday but is expected to suit up for a Wild-Card matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Dallas was given opportunities in each of Seattle's last three regular-season games and should continue to serve in a complementary role to starter Kenneth Walker III. He projects as an uninspiring DFS option this weekend against a San Francisco defense that has allowed the fewest PPR fantasy points to running backs this year.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith has enjoyed an incredible breakout campaign, finishing in the top 10 in the regular season in passing yards, passing touchdowns and completion percentage while leading the team to a playoff berth. Smith will enter unrestricted free agency this offseason, but the Seahawks are expected to pursue a new contract with the signal-caller and could franchise tag him if necessary. He is well-liked within the organization and has proven his worth as a QB1. With Smith under center again in 2023, wide receivers DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett should continue to produce at a high level.

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (knee) was removed from the injury report on Thursday and will play on Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. The fourth-year tight end turned in a lackluster year with just one game of more than 50 receiving yards and four touchdowns total. He did score against the 49ers in their last matchup while adding five catches for 32 yards. Having another weapon on the field is better for quarterback Geno Smith, but Fant's likelihood of turning in a good fantasy game is not very high.

Seattle Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) is no longer appearing on the injury report on Thursday. The rookie has played a big part in the offensive success of the Seahawks this season, as he amassed 1,215 total yards from scrimmage and nine rushing touchdowns. Removing him from the injury report is huge news, but his two games against the San Francisco 49ers didn't go too well. He could only post 10 and 47 yards, respectively, in both games with no touchdowns. While he was a solid fantasy contributor all season, he'll be hard to trust against this defense.

Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas (ankle, quadriceps) was officially listed as questionable heading into wild-card weekend. The 24-year-old has served as a backup or even third-string back throughout the season. To add a limitation on top of that while rookie Kenneth Walker III is off of the injury report should be a sign to fantasy managers to just stay away from playing him in any format this postseason. Whether he's healthy or not, he's not someone to trust against one of the best defenses in the league in the San Francisco 49ers.

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (knee) returned to a limited practice on Wednesday after he sat out on Tuesday. Fant has been playing through a knee injury of late and should be fine to play this Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. He finished with two touchdowns in the final four games of the season, including one against the Niners in Week 15. In the first meeting against San Fran in Week 2, Fant caught only two passes for 11 yards. The 25-year-old has been a touchdown-dependent TE2 streamer all year for fantasy managers, and that should continue into the postseason. Fant could also continue to lose some valuable targets to fellow tight end Colby Parkinson.

Seattle Seahawks running backs Kenneth Walker III (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle, quadriceps) both missed practice on Wednesday. Walker was a full participant on Tuesday, while Dallas has now missed the first two practices of the week. The Seahawks are likely just resting Walker ahead of Saturday's wild-card showdown against the San Francisco 49ers, but Dallas could be in real danger of sitting out this weekend. The 22-year-old Walker sat out with his ankle injury in Week 14, but he has played ever since and has totaled 450 scrimmage yards and no touchdowns in four games. He'll be Seattle's unquestioned lead back in a tough matchup against San Fran's D, which will likely lead many to fade him in playoff lineups. In his two games against the Niners, Walker has 16 carries for only 57 yards and no TDs, adding six catches for 37 yards through the air.

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (knee) and running back DeeJay Dallas (ankle, quadriceps) were listed as non-participants on Tuesday's practice estimation. The team conducted a walkthrough. Fant and Dallas have been battling injuries late in the season, but they both should return to practice on either Wednesday or Thursday and should be active this Saturday for the wild-card game against the San Francisco 49ers. Neither player is particularly attractive in fantasy lineups against one of the best defenses in the NFL, but Fant could pay off as a low-cost TE sleeper in DFS games. The 25-year-old has scored twice in his last four games and has caught 13 passes for 104 yards in that span. Dallas played only 11 offensive snaps in Week 18 and is the clear backup to impressive rookie Kenneth Walker III.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Dee Eskridge (hand) has been designated to return from the injured reserve. The 25-year-old suffered a broken hand returning kickoffs in Week 10. He has been sidelined since then, but has a chance to return for the postseason. The Seahawks have been using Cade Johnson and Dareke Young as their extra wideouts. However, Eskridge would be an upgrade over them, so we'll see when he's cleared to get back on the field.
