Trey Hendrickson Will Play Against Patriots
Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor told reporters on Thursday that Pro Bowl pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson (wrist) is going to play in Week 16 against the New England Patriots on Christmas Eve this Saturday despite dealing with a broken wrist. The 28-year-old missed the Week 15 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but is returning to play this weekend. He'll likely wear some kind of protection on his wrist this Saturday, and it remains to be seen how effective he'll be, but it's a testament to his toughness. Fantasy managers in IDP leagues should probably ignore Hendrickson at less than 100 percent. He checks in as the No. 40 defensive lineman in fantasy points in 2022 with 19 solo tackles, six sacks and two forced fumbles in 11 games played. His presence will be more bad news for a struggling Patriots offense.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (wrist) and cornerback Mike Hilton (knee) will not play in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Cornerback Jalen Davis (finger) will be evaluated over the next 48 hours, according to head coach Zac Taylor. It's not surprising that Hendrickson isn't playing after he fractured his wrist in the Week 14 win over the Cleveland Browns. The 28-year-old pass-rusher won't go on Injured Reserve, though, and the Bengals will hope he can make it back sooner than later. Quarterback Tom Brady and the Bucs offense has been struggling to move the ball consistently this year, but the Bengals defensive unit isn't a very attractive streamer. On the year, they rank 31 out of 32 teams in overall fantasy points.

The 28-year-old had 28 total tackles and six sacks on the season entering Week 14, and only Myles Garrett has pressured the quarterback more times than him. Unfortunately, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Hendrickson is expected to miss a few weeks, which won't be good news for a Bengals defense that has been partially responsible for the team's five-game winning streak.

Hendrickson is the team's current sack leader through seven weeks with 3.5.
