- PHOInjured Cameron Johnson Does 1-On-1 Work
Phoenix Suns guard Cameron Johnson (knee) has been able to do 1-on-1 work, according to head coach Monty Williams. This is great news, as Johnson is working his way back from a right meniscus tear in early November. The organization hasn't given a timetable for his return, but it sounds like Johnson is making progress. Torrey Craig is expected to remain in the starting five while Johnson is out. He's worth rostering in deep leagues right now, but he doesn't have much value outside of that.

Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (ankle) will not play Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors. Ayton will sit Tuesday with an ankle sprain as he continues to have ankle issues throughout the season. Jock Landale will get the spot start over Bismack Biyombo. Landale should be a decent streaming and DFS option while Ayton is on the shelf.

Phoenix Suns guard Landry Shamet (hip) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. This hurts with the Suns already shorthanded for this contest. The team is without Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Shamet for Tuesday's contest. The expectation is that Damion Lee or Josh Okogie would move into the starting five. Between the two, Lee is the better streaming option, but neither are anything more than deep league options.

Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton (ankle) is listed as questionable with an ankle sprain for Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. Ayton's had his fair share of ankle problems throughout his career, including a couple instances already this year. If Ayton is unable to go, Bismack Biyombo and Jock Landale would likely split the center minutes. Readers should check back before game time for an update on Ayton.

Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The veteran guard is considered day-to-day after exiting early during Friday's contest. Damion Lee started in his place during the second half of Friday's game. He is the favorite to get the start in Paul's place, so he should have streaming appeal. Also, Duane Washington Jr. should play a bigger role in the rotation with Paul sidelined.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker (groin) will be re-evaluated in the last week of January, according to Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic. The veteran has been bothered by a groin strain, which hasn't been ideal for a Suns team that has lost eight of their previous nine games. Even worse, Chris Paul (hip) is day-to-day after leaving Friday's meeting with Miami, while Cameron Payne (foot) won't be back for at least a few weeks. As a result, Landry Shamet, Damion Lee, and Duane Washington Jr., who combined for 29 points versus the Heat, could see an uptick in production moving ahead. All three warrant consideration for managers partaking in deep fantasy setups. However, Shamet has more fantasy potential.

Phoenix Suns guard Cameron Payne (foot) will be re-evaluated in two weeks, according to head coach Monty Williams. Payne sprained his right foot on Wednesday, which isn't ideal for a Suns team that has lost their last five games. Chris Paul (hip) is day-to-day, while Devin Booker (groin) remains out for the foreseeable future. As a result, Landry Shamet and Duane Washington Jr., who combined for 24 points off 27 shots versus Miami on Friday, could see extra minutes moving ahead, with the former expected to start if Paul misses time. Nonetheless, Shamet and Washington could serve useful in deep fantasy formats. However, Shamet has a slight end in fantasy potential.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Jan 7, 2023, 10:07:49 PM - PHOInjured Chris Paul Day-To-Day
Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul (hip) is considered day-to-day, according to head coach Monty Williams. The veteran exited Friday's loss to Miami because of right hip soreness, finishing with only five points in 12 minutes. The Suns will also be without Cameron Payne (foot), who took over for Paul while he missed 14 games with a heel injury, for at least two weeks. Devin Booker (groin) is also out for the foreseeable future. As a result, Landry Shamet, who had 11 points against the Heat, should remain in the starting lineup if Paul can't suit up for Sunday's meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Duane Washington Jr. is likely to see more minutes off the bench.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Jan 7, 2023, 9:56:23 PM - PHOInjured Cameron Payne Unavailable Friday
Phoenix Suns point guard Cameron Payne (foot) won't be able to take the court Friday against Miami. He left Wednesday's clash with Cleveland early and is nursing a sore right foot. Payne had only just returned from a nine-game absence, so he's had some really bad luck on the injury front. His absence gives Duane Washington Jr. an opportunity to play more, although he only logged two minutes on Wednesday and definitely isn't a reliable option for fantasy managers. Damion Lee should also benefit from the situation, and he's a much better target for managers, but Lee tends to blow hot and cold, so you never really know what you are going to get with him.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Jan 7, 2023, 1:58:17 AM - PHOInjured Cameron Payne To Miss The Rest Of Wednesday's Game
Phoenix Suns guard Cameron Payne (foot) has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This is not a good sign considering this was Payne's first game back after a nine-game absence due to a sprained right foot. There is a good chance that Payne misses more time from this injury, but fantasy managers will have to wait and see. Chris Paul would be asked to take on a heavier role, while Duane Washington Jr. would see more minutes off the bench. Washington could have some deep league appeal, assuming Payne does miss time from this injury.
