- LVRaiders Evaluating Trade Market For Derek Carr
The Las Vegas Raiders will begin the process of evaluating the trade market for quarterback Derek Carr as they prepare for a decision on their QB for the future, according to sources. Carr, who holds a no-trade clause, officially bid goodbye to the organization on his official Twitter account on Thursday. There is a firm deadline of Feb. 15, where Carr's $40.4 million in salary over the next two seasons becomes fully guaranteed, so time is of the essence. The Raiders benched Carr for Jarrett Stidham for the final two weeks of the 2022 season, and he will be playing for a new team in 2023 after nine years with the team. Because of the no-trade clause, Carr will have significant say in where he ends up. His 2023 fantasy value will depend on his landing spot.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (hip, personal) did not practice on Thursday or Friday but is officially active for Saturday's contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jacobs had been spending time with his father in the hospital this week but flew to Las Vegas on Friday night after his father told him he wanted to see him play. The Raiders have already been eliminated from playoff contention but will hope to end the season on a high note against a division rival. With the 2022-2023 NFL rushing title in his sights, Jacobs should be viewed as an elite fantasy option for his season finale.

There is a good chance that Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Zamir White will get his first serious action of his first NFL season in the Week 18 regular season finale on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Starter Josh Jacobs (hip, oblique) is questionable for Saturday's game and missed two practices this week. White missed the last two games with an ankle injury and only has 16 carries for 62 yards in his first 13 NFL games, but with the Raiders playing out the string, he could end up leading the Raiders backfield this weekend. The 6-foot, 215-pound fourth-rounder could be a big part of the team's future, so it's understandable for them to want to get a better look at him before heading into the offseason. Even if Jacobs plays against KC, he'll be extremely risky for fantasy purposes to close out the year.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (hip, oblique) is officially listed as questionable for the Week 18 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 24-year-old missed two practices this week due to personal reasons. It's also worth noting that Jacobs is a little banged up heading into this game. The Raiders don't have anything to play for in this game, but do expect the NFL's leading rusher to be on the field. The expectation is that he'll have his normal workload on Sunday. He's a must-start fantasy player, assuming he suits up for this game.

With Derek Carr seemingly out the door with the Las Vegas Raiders franchise for next year, it's looking like the team will be in the market for a new quarterback in 2023. In an appearance with the media on Wednesday, star wide receiver Davante Adams addressed this by saying he will likely stick around for next season, even with Carr moving on from the team. In addition, he mentioned that he'd like to provide input on the Raiders' quarterback situation for next season. Regarding his suggestions, Adams said, "They know whether it's about the scheme or if it's about personnel, whatever it is, there's a rhyme to the reason." With Adams being under contract until 2027, the Raiders certainly have some work to do in the offseason to address the quarterback position.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (illness) practiced in full on Wednesday after he was limited on Tuesday due to an illness. Adams should be just fine to suit up for the Week 18 regular season finale on Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Fantasy managers were extremely worried about a slumping Adams last weekend with quarterback Jarrett Stidham getting the start, but those concerns quickly went away after Adams went for seven catches, a season-high 153 yards and two touchdowns on 11 targets in the overtime loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The 30-year-old is an absolute must-start in single-season leagues and will also be attractive in DFS in Week 18. In the first meeting against KC in Week 5, Adams had three catches for 124 yards and two scores.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jarrett Stidham (elbow) was a full practice participant Wednesday. He was limited in Tuesday's session but returned to full capacity on Wednesday. The 26-year-old is coming off an impressive performance in the Week 17 loss to the 49ers, throwing for 365 yards and three touchdowns. Stidham has a plus matchup against the Chiefs on Saturday and will look to build on last Sunday's terrific outing. The former New England Patriot is in the QB2 conversation against Kansas City, who ranks 21st in Pass DVOA this season.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jarrett Stidham (elbow) was estimated as limited in Tuesday's practice. The 26-year-old debuted against San Francisco last week, putting forth an impressive performance that nearly earned the team a win. He committed two turnovers but threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns, producing a better fantasy output than Derek Carr has all year. It's no guarantee he will repeat those numbers this week against the Chiefs but given the weapons he has at his disposal and the matchup, he becomes an intriguing streamer or QB2, especially when other teams will be resting or limiting playing time for their starters.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (illness) was estimated as limited in Tuesday's practice. The 30-year-old has not been on the injury report very often this season, and because it was an illness that impacted his participation, there is little reason to be worried. The former Packer is coming off a monster game against the 49ers, hauling in seven passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. It was a surprising performance, given that he had three disappointing weeks before that, and Jarrett Stidham was the starter. He'll enter their Week 18 matchup against the Chiefs as a must-start receiver with a massive ceiling.

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (hip/oblique) was estimated as limited in Tuesday's practice. It has been a frequent occurrence for the 24-year-old throughout the season but has not impacted his availability on game day, meaning there is nothing to be concerned about at the moment. The league's rushing leader is coming off an impressive outing against the stout San Francisco defense, racking up 95 total yards and a touchdown. The team will host Kansas City in Week 18, offering Jacobs another chance to finish as a top-12 back.
