- INDInjured Stephon Gilmore Sitting Out In Season Finale
Indianapolis Colts cornerback Stephon Gilmore (wrist) is officially inactive for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Houston Texans. Gilmore came into this one with a questionable tag after not practicing all week, and the Colts will keep him out in a meaningless game to end the year. The 32-year-old five-time Pro Bowler will end his first year with the Colts with a career-high 66 tackles (53 solo), two interceptions and 11 passes defensed in 16 starts. Despite the fact that Gilmore won't suit up on Sunday, Indy's defense/special teams unit could be worth a look as a streamer in deeper leagues while going up against one of the worst offenses in football.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Nick Foles (ribs) will not play against the Houston Texans in Week 18. Interim head coach Jeff Saturday said Foles is still sore after taking a brutal hit against the New York Giants in the Week 17 loss. Sam Ehlinger will make his third start of the season, with Matt Ryan serving as his backup. Ehlinger has completed 41 of his 66 passing attempts for 364 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He remains off the fantasy radar in single-QB leagues in Week 18.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Nick Foles (rib) has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 17 against the New York Giants. He exited in the second quarter after a big hit that left him on the ground in agony. The veteran had gone 8-for-13 with 81 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception before departing. Sam Ehlinger will take over at quarterback for the remainder of Sunday's contest.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Nick Foles (rib) is questionable to return against the New York Giants in Week 17. He exited in the second quarter after a big hit that left him on the ground in agony. The veteran had gone 8-for-13 with 81 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception before departing. Sam Ehlinger will take over at quarterback until Foles can return.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Jeff Saturday served as a consultant to the organization and an analyst for ESPN before taking over as interim coach. He started off with a bang when he beat the Las Vegas Raiders in his coaching debut. Since then, the Colts have fallen to 1-5 under Saturday. Also, they've given up the largest comeback in NFL history. Honestly, it's a bit surprising that the Colts want to bring back Saturday for the 2023 season. Possibly, a full offseason of preparation would help Saturday, but he should be considered a long-shot for the full-time gig.

The Indianapolis Colts placed defensive end Yannick Ngakoue (throat) on Injured Reserve on Saturday, ending his 2022 season with just two games to go. Ngakoue suffered a throat injury in Week 16 and will require surgery. The 27-year-old has been Indy's best pass-rusher this year, so it will be a big loss for their final two games, starting this weekend against the New York Giants. Ngakoue will finish his first year with the Colts with 29 tackles (18 solo), eight tackles for loss, 16 QB hits, a team-high 9.5 sacks and a forced fumble in his 15 starts. The Colts will hope Kwity Paye and Dayo Odenyingbo can step up without Ngakoue in these final two games. Indy's defense/special teams should be ignored by fantasy managers in Week 17.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin (concussion) and tight end Kylen Granson (ankle) have been ruled out for Week 17 against the New York Giants. Dulin suffered a head injury on Monday night on the same play that got Los Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James ejected from the contest. The 25-year-old has been well off the fantasy radar in 2022 in Indy's anemic offense, recording 15 catches for 207 yards and a touchdown on 22 targets over 11 games. Granson is missing his second straight game. As such, Jelani Woods has a prime opportunity to make some noise after leading the team with 43 receiving yards on three catches in his first start of the year in Week 16. Still, with quarterback Nick Foles running the show, fantasy managers can find better streaming options at TE.

Indianapolis Colts interim head coach Jeff Saturday said that quarterback Nick Foles will remain the starter under center for the Week 17 game against the New York Giants. The Colts benched Matt Ryan for the second time this year in favor of Foles for the Monday night game against the Los Angeles Chargers, and it netted them just three points in a 20-3 loss. Foles finished 17-for-29 for 143 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions against the Chargers. The 33-year-old also took seven sacks. It will be hard for Foles to be much worse in Week 17, but he'll be facing a very solid defense. We wouldn't recommend starting him in fantasy lineups, even in two-QB leagues with a fantasy title on the line this weekend.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin went back to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion following an illegal hit by Derwin James in his team's Monday Night Football game in Week 16. A defenseless Dulin took a huge hit from James, who led with the crown of his helmet, following an incompletion in the second quarter. He was slow to get up before eventually heading back into the locker room to be checked for a head injury. James was ejected for the hit and Dulin's night could also be over, although the Colts haven't ruled him out officially.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Dec 27, 2022, 2:32:06 AM - INDColts Benching Matt Ryan For Nick Foles
The Indianapolis Colts are benching quarterback Matt Ryan in favor of Nick Foles for the Week 16 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night, according to a source. After blowing a historic 33-point lead in the loss to the Minnesota Vikings last Saturday, interim head coach Jeff Saturday has seen enough of the veteran Ryan. The 37-year-old didn't do anything to impress in Week 15, throwing for only 182 yards and one touchdown in the overtime loss. Foles played two offensive snaps in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars but didn't attempt a pass. The 33-year-old will get his first start of 2022 as the Colts look to bounce back from a devastating loss. He'll be nothing more than a desperation low-end QB2 for fantasy managers, and the Chargers defensive unit will become a bit more attractive as a streaming option this week.
