- CINInjured Tee Higgins Returns To Practice
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (illness) returned to practice on Thursday after he was out sick on Wednesday. Higgins shouldn't be in any danger of missing Sunday's wild-card game against the Baltimore Ravens. The 23-year-old pass-catcher was injured in the first meeting against Baltimore in Week 5 and caught just one pass for seven yards in the Week 18 regular season finale against them. While his numbers look bad against Baltimore in 2022, fantasy managers shouldn't avoid him in playoff leagues just because of that. During the regular season, Higgins was the WR17 in half-point PPR scoring with 74 catches on 110 targets for 1,029 yards and seven touchdowns. He should be heavily involved on Sunday night.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (illness) didn't take part in practice on Wednesday due to an illness. As long as Higgins is able to return to practice on Thursday or Friday, he should be just fine to suit up in the wild-card playoff matchup on Sunday night against the division-rival Baltimore Ravens. The 23-year-old finished the regular season with a whimper against these same Ravens in Week 18, catching just one of his seven targets for seven yards. He was injured in the first meeting against Baltimore in Week 5. Don't let Higgins' poor performance last Sunday dissuade you from taking him in playoff lineups this weekend. He should be treated as a top-10 wideout after finishing the regular season as the WR17 in half-point PPR setups.

The Week 17 game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals that was postponed on Monday night after Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest in the first quarter will not be finished. The league is currently figuring out how to configure the AFC playoffs without that game being played. It's possible that an eighth team could be added to the mix to eliminate the bye week for the No. 1 seed, but all options continue to be discussed. Of utmost importance is the health of Hamlin, who has improved considerably in the last 24 hours and appears to be neurologically intact. It remains to be seen how the NFL will configure the AFC playoff picture, but stay tuned for more information.

The NFL announced on Tuesday that the Week 17 game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills will not be resumed this week after Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest in the first quarter of Monday night's game. There has been no decision on potentially resuming the game at a later date. There's a chance that this game will be declared a no-contest. At this challenging time, football is secondary to the health of Hamlin, who is currently in critical condition at the UC Medical Center in Cincinnati after having his heartbeat restored on the field Monday night. RotoBaller's thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Hamlin's family, friends and teammates. When more is known on Hamlin's condition, we'll provide updates.

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) was removed from the team's Week 17 injury report and will suit up against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Hurst was inactive from Weeks 14-16 with a calf injury but was a full participant in three days of practice this week. Unfortunately, Hurst's return will come against a Buffalo defense that has allowed the third-fewest PPR fantasy points to tight ends this season. Still, this contest is expected to be a high-scoring affair, so Hurst can be started in fantasy lineups as he has a significant role in one of the league's best offenses.

The Cincinnati Bengals placed right tackle La'el Collins (knee) on Injured Reserve on Friday. Collins will miss the rest of the season after he suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee in the Week 16 win over the New England Patriots. With the injury coming late in the season, the 29-year-old might not be ready to go for the start of the 2023 campaign. Cincinnati's offensive line has been better than they were a year ago, but losing Collins will be an interesting storyline to follow with the playoffs only two weeks away. Hakeem Adeniji is expected to step in as the Bengals' starting right tackle from here on out.

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) practiced in full on Thursday. With Hurst being a full practice participant in the first practice of the week, he's on track to make his return on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills for the first time since Week 13. The 29-year-old should reclaim his job as the team's top pass-catching tight end over Mitchell Wilcox, but fantasy managers should still be very wary of using Hurst in starting lineups with everything on the line. Hurst could easily see his snaps monitored after a three-game layoff as the Bengals look to get right for the playoffs in two weeks. In 12 games before his injury, Hurst had 48 receptions (63 targets) for 400 yards and only two touchdowns.

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) is expected to play in Monday's game against the Bills. He missed the last three games due to a calf injury. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Tuesday that he's "very optimistic" Hurst will be available for Monday Night Football. The Bengals wanted to give Hurst "another week to get in great shape." The 29-year-old has caught 48 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns over 12 games in 2022. Hurst would be a streamer in deep-league formats in a tough matchup against the Bills that rank second in DVOA versus opposing tight ends if active.

Cincinnati Bengals right tackle La'el Collins (knee) will miss the rest of the season. The veteran left Saturday's win over the Patriots after injuring his knee. While there was a belief he dodged a bullet upon an initial examination, an MRI on Sunday revealed he suffered a torn ACL and MCL. The 29-year-old agreed to a three-year contract with Cincinnati back in March to add stability to an offensive line that struggled during the 2021-22 campaign. While things have gotten better, the unit still hasn't looked the best at times throughout the season. Nevertheless, Collins is anticipated to need seven months to recover, so he could be ready to go by Week 1 next season. Hakeem Adeniji is expected to replace him for the remainder of the year.

Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle La'el Collins (knee) won't return to Saturday's meeting with New England. The veteran didn't last long, going down in the first quarter with a knee injury. However, Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins, and Ja'Marr Chase have had no problems getting it done so far in Week 16 against the Pats defense, so losing Collins hasn't caused any issues.
