- DALXavier Rhodes Joins Cowboys Practice Squad
The Dallas Cowboys have signed defensive back Xavier Rhodes to their practice squad. The former first round pick joins Dallas after only playing in two games with the Buffalo Bills this season. He won't be active for Week 18, but could be added to the roster when the postseason begins. This is a nice pickup for Dallas who has already lost two defensive backs in Anthony Brown and Jourdan Lewis. The three-time Pro Bowl defensive back should be able to contribute to this roster.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Jan 8, 2023, 3:37:28 PM - DALInjured Tony Pollard Will Play In Week 18
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) practiced in full all week and will play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. Pollard was removed from Friday's final injury report and is just 12 rushing yards shy of his first 1,000-yard season. It's been a great season for the 25-year-old, as he's been a top-10 fantasy RB despite sharing the backfield with Ezekiel Elliott. Pollard sat out of last Thursday's win over the Tennessee Titans and although he'll be active this weekend, it's fair to wonder if he'll see a big enough role to be worth using in DFS and season-long fantasy lineups. The main priority will be for the Cowboys to head into the playoffs with a fully healthy Pollard. Dallas can still win the NFC East with a win and an Eagles loss, but don't be surprised if Pollard takes a back seat to Zeke in this one.

Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Pollard was held out as a precaution on a short week in last Thursday's win over the Tennessee Titans, but he's on track to return in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Dallas could still win the NFC East and secure the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC with a win and some help this weekend, so they'll likely approach this like any other game. Still, it remains to be seen how much the 25-year-old will actually play if he's active on Sunday. In half-point PPR setups this year, Pollard has been the RB7 with 988 rushing yards and nine touchdowns, adding 39 catches, 371 yards and three more TDs. If he returns and sees a sizeable workload, it will obviously hurt Ezekiel Elliott's fantasy ceiling.

With the emergence of newly signed Dallas Cowboys receiver T.Y. Hilton, the team released receiver James Washington on Wednesday, according to a source. Washington is healthy and has played in two games for the Cowboys this year, but he'll head to waivers and could very well be claimed by another team. The 26-year-old pass-catcher broke his foot in training camp last summer and didn't make his debut with Dallas until Week 14. In the two games he was active, he played only 15 offensive snaps and failed to haul in his only target. Meanwhile, Hilton has quickly gained chemistry with quarterback Dak Prescott and could play a vital role in the postseason for the Cowboys' passing attack. If Washington lands in the right situation, he could bounce back in 2023.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Jan 4, 2023, 5:25:06 PM - DALInjured Tony Pollard To Practice Wednesday
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) will return to practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. Pollard was held out of last Thursday's win over the Tennessee Titans, but he could be on track to return for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Washington Commanders in a game in which Dallas could be playing for the NFC East title and the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC. Pollard has been a top-10 fantasy RB this year, but you'll have to monitor his practice status this week before Sunday's game. Even with seeding still on the line in Week 18, Dallas could choose to limit Pollard's snaps if he's active against Washington. Meanwhile, backfield mate Ezekiel Elliott is looking to close out the regular season with a 10-game touchdown streak.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Jan 2, 2023, 11:12:34 PM - DALInjured Tyler Biadasz Injured Thursday Night
Dallas Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz (ankle) was injured in the second half of the Thursday night game against the Tennessee Titans and is being listed as questionable to return. He left the field after being rolled up on and was carted to the locker room, so there's a good chance we won't see him again for the remainder of the contest. With the 25-year-old hurt, the Cowboys moved Connor McGovern to center and Tyler Smith to left guard, while Jason Peters entered the game to play left tackle on quarterback Dak Prescott's blind side. The last thing the Cowboys need heading into the playoffs in a couple weeks is injuries to key players on their offensive line.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Dec 30, 2022, 3:50:52 AM - DALInjured Tony Pollard Won't Play Thursday Night
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) will be inactive on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans, according to a source. Pollard came into the short week highly questionable, and it's not much of a surprise that the Cowboys are holding him out so that he'll be healthy for the postseason. It will be his first missed game of 2022, and it couldn't come at a worse time for fantasy managers in championship week in most leagues. The 25-year-old has been more explosive than backfield mate Ezekiel Elliott and is the RB7 in half-point PPR formats this year. In any event, Elliott will have more fantasy upside with Pollard out as he looks to find the end zone for the ninth straight game. Rookie Malik Davis will back up Elliott on Thursday night.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Dec 29, 2022, 7:03:33 PM - DALInjured Tony Pollard's Status Very Much In Doubt
The status of Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) is very much in doubt for the Thursday night game against the Tennessee Titans. Pollard is listed as questionable for the Week 17 game, but he didn't practice at all this week. The Cowboys will put Pollard through an early pre-game workout, but they will err on the side of caution. If it's close, Pollard will be inactive, which obviously would open the door for backfield mate Ezekiel Elliott to have a much bigger role as Dallas' lead back. Fantasy managers that have made it to their championship matchup this week need to be prepared to go in another direction at RB if Pollard, the RB7 in half-point PPR scoring this year, isn't given the green light. Check back 90 minutes before kickoff on Thursday night to see if Pollard will actually play.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Dec 29, 2022, 5:01:24 PM - DALInjured Tony Pollard A Game-Time Decision For Thursday Night
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) is a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Tennessee Titans. Due to a thigh injury, the 25-year-old is listed as questionable for Thursday Night Football. He will test out his injured thigh during pregame warmups and will have to prove his health to avoid being inactive. This season, the former fourth-round pick has been excellent in a one-two-punch combination with Ezekiel Elliott. Pollard has rushed for 988 yards and nine touchdowns while catching 39 passes for 371 yards and three scores over 15 games in 2022. Elliott is expected to receive most of the carries and remains a must-start, while Malik Davis could receive additional touches if Pollard is ruled out for Week 17.
Source : RotoBallerUpdated : Dec 29, 2022, 3:12:07 PM - DALInjured Tony Pollard To Be Evaluated In Pregame On Thursday
Dallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (thigh) is going to be evaluated in pregame before their Week 17 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Pollard has not practiced once this week, leaving his status for Thursday Night Football in doubt. Even with the 25-year-old still questionable, it wouldn't make much sense for the Cowboys to rush him back. The Titans are resting nearly every impactful player on their roster in preparation for their Week 18 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, making this game a lopsided affair. Fantasy managers should monitor Pollard's status in pregame, but expect to be without him for championship week.
