Vikings’ Kris Boyd Calls Out Taylor Heinicke Over Stealing Kirko Chain Celebration

The star cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings’ special teams, Kris Boyd, isn’t a fan of the Washington Commanders wrapping their quarterback in diamond chains for the flight home after a win like the Vikings did.

Vikings’ Kris Boyd Blasts Taylor Heinicke Over Imitation Celebration

The Commanders imitated Kirko Chainz, better known as Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, by draping Taylor Heinicke with thousands of dollars worth of jewellery after they defeated the Eagles on Monday night.

“Find your own trend! … Y’all s–t don’t even look like y’all having fun enjoying it.”

This season, Cousins has become a viral celebrity in part because of his postgame celebration of wearing chains on aeroplanes, which has boosted the Vikings to an 8-1 start.

However, Cousins was replaced last weekend by Minnesota cornerback Patrick Peterson, who assisted the Vikings in their thrilling overtime victory over the Bills on Sunday after intercepting Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen in the end zone.

Boyd tweeted: “Stop trynna f****** be us…Lames…He couldn’t hold Kirk’s jockstrap!! Find your own trend!…Y’all s*** don’t even look like y’all are having fun enjoying it..”

He wasn’t finished. Boyd responded to a follower who said Boyd ought to be pleased that Heinicke and the Commanders defeated the Eagles to advance the Vikings in the NFC playoff race “Idgaf! We have gone whoop both they ass they cross our path again!”

Ahead in the NFC North rankings, the Vikings will visit the Cowboys on Sunday before playing the Patriots (5-4) on Thanksgiving night the following Thursday.

The Commanders, who moved to 5-5 after defeating the unbeaten Eagles 32-21 in Philadelphia, will go up against the Texans (1-7-1) on Sunday in Houston.
