“Out There Having Fun”: Christian Wilkins Reacts to Grabbing Josh Allen’s Crotch Last Week

The tension between the Dolphins and Bills grew on Sunday, and it seemed to reach its peak during one particular sequence. Josh Allen, the quarterback for Buffalo, was seen tearing off Miami defensive end Christian Wilkins’ helmet and was called for a personal foul.

Allen spoke about the argument that led to the two of them being split apart. Allen and Wilkins have some history together because they got into an altercation towards the conclusion of the Bills’ victory in October at Orchard Park the year before.

Things happen in the bottom of the piles, as the CBS commentators pointed out on Sunday, and it looked like Wilkins intentionally or unintentionally struck Allen below the belt. It was one of the defenses of Miami’s multiple questionable plays.

“I think anybody with two eyes can understand what was going on under that pile,” Allen said. “There’s some things that I didn’t appreciate down there that was going on. We’ll let everyone make their own judgments for that.”

In a post-game interview with CBS, Christian Wilkins was questioned about the play as well:

“It just happens. Josh is a competitor, I’m a competitor,” he said. “The game is on the line. We’re going back and forth. That’s just how it is. That’s how it is with division rivals. With alpha males, that’s how it goes.”

If Christian Wilkins is the individual in issue, it’s probably true that you shouldn’t be doing that in any situation on the football field. If you recall, he literally simply grabbed another man’s crotch in broad daylight at Clemson. not even included in a pile-up.
