‘He’s just a kid, leave him alone’ – NBA fans react after video of Jayson Tatum trash-talking an 8-year-old goes viral

After receiving criticism for his NBA 2022 Finals performance against the Golden State Warriors, Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum has found his way back into the NBA limelight. The Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown-led Boston Celtics were held at bay and defeated by the Warriors in six games, living up to their moniker. This resulted in the young Celtics squad receiving several negative comments and trolls, and now even youngsters are smoking them while still receiving a response. As many people in the area think, JT still feels the loss deeply.

In the NBA Finals, Jayson Tatum wasn’t exactly performing at his best. He was only allowed to be a playmaker, he was constantly defended, and most of his shots were blocked. In spite of all of this, he still managed to average 21.5 points, 7 assists, and 6.8 rebounds. He was also double-teamed. Still, it’s all been for nought because they didn’t succeed in being famous. In all honesty, the Golden State Warriors under Stephen Curry were superior to the winners of the Eastern Conference.

But the list has now grown by one more troll. A video of an 8-year-old child and his sibling trash-talking Jayson Tatum has gone viral online. Most of the time, Jayson Tatum has been the target of taunts but has kept quiet about it. However, he decided to respond when the adversaries were two little children who may have been trying to trick him or not.

Jayson Tatum enquired about the child’s age. The youngster responded that he is eight years old, and this knowledge was sufficient for the Celtics great to complete his task. The 8-year-old child and his brother JT both used the same line of trash talk: “When I was eight, I would bust your a**… You and your brother would both be cooked.” Of course, acting in such a crude manner toward children was unnecessary, but as said before, it’s all fun off the court when the league won’t sanction you for acting crudely with some children.

Jayson Tatum is the father of a son who is 4 years old. So it’s fair to infer that he was kidding and didn’t really want to get in trouble for being impolite to some young fans who were enjoying their courtside seats in the arena. But regrettably, that is exactly what has happened, and he is now forced to pay the price by being ridiculed once more when Andrew Wiggins is brought up in the debate.
