Warriors Star Draymond Green Surpasses Michael Jordan in This Stat and Received the Bragging Rights

This season, Draymond Green has really shined. The guy has returned as nearly the finest representation of himself that fans have ever seen, despite being at the heart of all the controversy in the offseason. With the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green is performing at a high level, offensively and defensively once more. He is also excelling at a skill that almost entirely belongs to Stephen Curry: three-point shooting. It might not appear to be much.

But this is all he needs to do from beyond the arc in an offense where Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, and just about everyone else excels at the long ball. Green may already brag that he is better than Michael Jordan at 3-point shooting, even if his stats in this area are well below those of his buddy.

Draymond Green crosses Michael Jordan in 3-point list

Green eclipsed Michael Jordan, who is widely regarded as the finest long-range shooter in history, after ten years of NBA play and as one of the Golden State Warriors’ most recognizable players.

While Green has surpassed Jordan’s 581 three-pointers made over his stellar career with 582, Jordan was not recognized for being a strong three-point shooter. Not frequently did Michael Jordan attempt three-pointers, though. Even yet, he wasn’t too awful when he tried, shooting 32.7% on 1.7 attempts per game, which was decent for his time.

The best basketball player ever, who played for 15 years and averaged 30.1 points per game, is seated behind a guy who has scored 8.7 points per game on average.
