Russell Westbrook shockingly blames Los Angeles Lakers for poor form and injuries

After last night’s 123-109 loss to the Golden State Warriors, who are the defending champions of the NBA, several members of the Los Angeles Lakers did not hold back in a variety of rather heated press conferences.

They did not hold back their anger. Russell Westbrook, the current starting point guard for the team, provided some intriguing explanations for the strained left hamstring he endured while still recording a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double last night, despite making some extremely questionable decisions. Despite these explanations, Westbrook still managed to record a double-double.

When Westbrook was asked by Dan Woike of The Los Angeles Times whether sitting on the bench during the team’s preseason loss to the Sacramento Kings (who, in all honesty, just looked deeper and better than the Lakers for the first time in… about 20 years), may have had an effect on his hamstring injury, Westbrook jumped on that angle.

Westbrook jumped on this angle when Woike asked Westbrook whether he sat on the bench during the team’s preseason loss to the Sacramento Kings. Westbrook has stated that he is “one hundred percent” certain that his brief stint as a player on the bench may have affected his health.

“I’ve been doing the same thing for 14 years in a row,” Westbrook said, referring to the fact that he has started 1005 out of a possible 1022 games during the regular season so far. “To tell you the truth, I was completely clueless before the game. To tell you the truth, I was considering how to keep my body warm while maintaining its natural flexibility,” he added.

“My style of play naturally results in a game that is high-energy, frantic, and full of sudden stops and starts for me. And as I was filling in the blanks, I found myself going through an experience. I wasn’t sure what it was, but because it was a preseason game, I decided not to take any chances with it. ” he concluded.

The pregame rituals that Westbrook follows have been the topic of conversation for the past week. The fact that Westbrook was not there for the Lakers’ pregame and halftime huddles during their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on the previous Wednesday generated rumors about the team’s chemistry on the internet.

Westbrook explained the first isolation by saying that it was a standard part of his pregame process, and he blamed the second one on him becoming distracted when he was talking to the coaches. Ham predicted that Westbrook would not play in the last preseason game, which took place forty-eight hours later.
