Post Malone returned to the stage for a complete concert on Tuesday night in Cleveland after a health issue that forced the cancellation of two performances. The rapper of “White Iverson” also paid homage to a local favorite, Darius Garland, when he performed at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

Malone had a bad fall midway through his act on September 17 while performing at St. Louis’ Enterprise Center. The singer/rapper, 27, managed to complete the performance.

Malone, though, was forced to postpone a show in Boston a week later after being sent to the hospital with respiratory issues and stabbing pains. Malone, whose actual name is Austin Post, wore a jersey from one of the city’s teams, as he has done for the entirety of his Twelve Carat Tour.

Post Malone wears Darius Garland jersey in Cleveland concert

Darius Garland, a point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, received the honor on Tuesday night. The 27-year-old wore one of the team’s brand-new white home jerseys for the bulk of his almost two-hour performance in Cleveland.

Post Malone informed the audience of everything that happened while in Ohio and showed no negative side effects. Although the cancellation cast doubt on the performance scheduled for Tuesday in Cleveland, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse representatives told 3News that the event will go as scheduled.

Post Malone not only recovered well, but he also honored NBA great Darius Garland by donning a Cleveland Cavaliers replica jersey.
