Phoenix Suns Star Mikal Bridges Reveals Crucial Information on His ‘Hyperextended’ Knee Injury
The Phoenix Suns led the Golden State Warriors by 6.5 games as of the 2022 NBA All-Star break in the race for the top spot in the Western Conference. The No. 1 seed was in peril when Chris Paul and Cam Johnson both suffered injuries in a matter of seconds. In the first part of the regular season, they have been plenty of surprises. The Suns are without the same two players nine months later and are in a similar predicament. This time, the damage is having an impact.
The Suns are begging for explanations after a 5-1 start to the 2022–23 season due to Paul and Johnson’s ailments. Mikal Bridges is now also listed as injured.

Phoenix Suns star Mikal Bridges reveals his injury status
Mikal Bridges, the Suns’ all-around 3 and D wing, played 37 minutes in the defeat but could have put himself in danger. After the game, Bridges told reporters “he feels he hyper-extended his right knee,” while Duane Rankin reports that this is still uncertain. The 26-year-old wing’s availability for the Suns’ upcoming games is in doubt as he intends to get his knee examined.

Even though Mikal Bridges seldom gets hurt, when he does, he continues to play through them. Bridges injured his finger during a game against the Golden State Warriors in December of last year, but he didn’t wind up missing any time. In fact, Bridges hasn’t missed a game in his whole NBA career, which is unimaginable in the load management environment of today.
Bridges is second on the squad in both points scored and rebounds grabbed (5.2 per game). With 27 points of his own in a victory over New Orleans, he led the squad in scoring. In the victory over Minnesota last week, he added 31 points as well. He seems to be able to handle everything.
