NFL Fantasy Week 15: Start’ Em

Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Miami Dolphins: Tagovailoa has been on a roll lately. Ever since he returned from his injury, he’s been playing much better and led the Dolphins to a surprise push to a playoff spot.

The young quarterback has one of the biggest projections for a quarterback in Week 15, not only because of his recent good play but also because he will face a bad New York Jets team. This can be the kind of surprise that gives you a huge advantage in your Fantasy playoffs. Give Tua the start.

David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears: Montgomery has a fine average yards per carry (4.2) and the matchup is favorable against a Minnesota Vikings run defense that’s not impressive. With Justin Fields back into the field, defenses will be paying attention for his athleticism, who opens up the playbook and allows important production for the running backs.

Montgomery is a dual-threat running back who can gain good yards through the air as well. He merits a start this week.

Myles Gaskin, RB, Miami Dolphins: No need to overanalyze here because the reason is the same as Tua: Gaskin will face an awful Jets team. He’s not the most productive runner out there but think about a game where he scores a touchdown and also receives a lot of garbage time carries. Reminder: the running back scored twice against Carolina in Week 12.

NFL Fantasy Week 15: Sit’ Em

Carson Wentz, QB, Indianapolis Colts: Have you watched how the New England Patriots has been playing lately? They’ve destroyed basically every offense that faced them since they were beaten by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. Even if this projects as an even game with the Colts as favorites, don’t trust Carson Wentz on Saturday.

He’ll be facing a top 3 defense regarding points allowed to quarterbacks and we know Wentz can be an inconsistent quarterback at times. There are safer options available for this week, even if you have to dig deep on waivers. Keep Carson on the bench.

Leonard Fournette, RB, New Orleans Saints: Fournette has been on a roll lately, but this is the week to pump the breaks and don’t overreact to his great form. The Saints have a stout run defense which will probably limit his opportunities during the game, and the Buccaneers will change to a quick-strike offense where Fournette will be no more than a check-down option.

Fournette is a good player. If you have him, you should be happy with how he’s playing recently. But for this week, keep him out.

Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens: Everything points to a bad Brown game on Sunday. The Ravens’ offense is really bad right now, Lamar Jackson will not be fully healthy – that’s if he even plays – and the Packers defense can pressure the quarterback.

It’s difficult to see the young receiver making plays against Green Bay because of the situation, even if he’s having the best season of his career. He doesn’t score since Week 7 and his touchdown slump will continue for one more week.
