NBA news: Ex-Pistons star Ben Gordon detained by airport authorities after allegedly striking his son
Ben Gordon was detained for assault and resisting arrest on Monday night at LaGuardia airport in New York City. The former Detroit Pistons star was accused of punching his 11-year-old in the face with a closed hand, according to many witnesses. According to the frightening allegations, the NBA’s 2005 Sixth Man of the Year was a disturbed and violent parent. Ashley Banks, who dated Gordon from 2016 to 2020, has now said things that make the situation look much better for Gordon.
Gordon and Banks have a child together named Lux. According to Banks, Gordon was set up. It’s “all accusations,” she claims. Banks claims that Gordon never touched the youngster in any way. Banks described what transpired: “Somebody was prying. It was the cashier. It was just Karen being Karen. He became agitated since he was with his son after security was called.”

She claims that the disturbance began while he was punishing his 11-year-old son Elijah by making him do pushups. And Ben Gordon was recognized by the airport worker. Gordon’s ex-girlfriend continued blaming an airport worker for everything: “The father of my son would never touch his kids.”
For his three boys, he pumps life into them. She needs to be let go. Simply put, he was furious. She claimed that airport security responded inappropriately. His son, who was unharmed and unbruised, is with his aunt. He became agitated when the lady started talking to them and phoned security. “The kid is alright,” she went on to say.
Ben Gordon opened up about his problems with mental illness in a moving 2020 essay titled “Where is My Mind?” Gordon’s former girlfriend finds the child’s distress as a result of witnessing his father’s detention to be the worst aspect: “The kid witnessed his father being detained and taken away. He was detained while awaiting the arrival of his aunt. The toughest aspect is that, so we want to protect him because of that.”
Additionally, the child’s biological mother claims that he was never punched. I spoke with the mother of the youngster, and she said, “He would never do that.” The kid is alright. was not even struck, “Banks verified.”
“Everything was absolutely made up. It’s quite depressing. Because once you make a statement like that, especially about athletes and celebrities, it stays with you.” She added that.
Ben Gordon was detained once more after being freed on bail. The former star player for the Chicago Bulls was released early on Wednesday morning after getting bail from the Queens, New York, Criminal Court on Tuesday night. He was then taken back into custody for a different crime.
