NBA Fans react as Skip Bayless doesn’t include LeBron James in his top 5 current players
Due to his disparaging remarks against NBA stars LeBron James and others, Skip Bayless continues to make news. The outspoken analyst has established himself as perhaps the world’s biggest LeBron hater, and that reputation is unlikely to alter any time soon. LeBron is constantly the target of Bayless’ criticism, even when he hasn’t done anything deserving of it.

That doesn’t matter, though, to Bayless since he never stops pursuing current Lakers star LeBron no matter what he does. The 70-year-old attacked LeBron during the most recent episode of FS1’s Undisputed while defending his favorite NBA star, Kevin Durant. Skip believes that KD is the best player in the world despite trade speculations involving Durant, who failed to win in Brooklyn for three seasons (two on the floor).

During the NBA Finals in 2017 and 2018, Bayless said that Kevin Durant visited LeBron and “destroyed LeBron” there. “Cleveland, Ohio, the location of the King’s castle. destroyed him, winning MVP honours in back-to-back Finals, and rising to become the world’s finest player.”
In five games of the 2017 NBA Finals, Kevin Durant averaged 35.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. James averaged 33.6 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 10.0 assists in the same series, but Cleveland fell to Golden State 4-1.

James has won four NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, four NBA Finals MVP Awards, two Olympic gold medals, and the NBA Rookie of the Year Award. He is the all-time top scorer for the Cavaliers and has been chosen to 18 NBA All-Star teams, ten All-NBA teams, and 5 All-Defensive teams.
NBA fans were quick to react after Bayless left out LeBron from his top 5. On Twitter, one wrote, “Blasphemous. LeBron isn’t 25 anymore but 7th is absurd’ while another added, ‘What is Skip Bayless on? No LeBron in the top 5?’
