Despite changes in the front office and a new head coach, the Atlanta Hawks finished 41-41 last season and advanced to the postseason for the third straight year. Additionally, they were eliminated in the first round for the second consecutive year.

The NBA’s Christmas Day printable schedule, which has previously been leaked by a number of publications, does not include the Hawks, as far as we are aware. Since 1989, the Hawks have only played on Christmas once, falling to the New York Knicks 101-87 in 2021–2022.

They will also not be a part of the NBA’s opening night festivities and will face a few challenging stretches, as they do every season.

The longest home stretch for Atlanta is six matches from January 26 to February 5. Thanks in part to the In-Season Tournament, they will play nine straight Eastern Conference opponents from November 9 through November 28 and seven straight Western Conference opponents from March 8 through March 21.

In order to generate more excitement during the lull of the regular season that might occur before the All-Star break, the NBA is launching a new In-Season Tournament. These aren’t extra games; rather, the league deliberately scheduled them this way to match clubs together inside their division.
