Jimmy Kimmel Warns Aaron Rodgers For Possible Lawsuit Post Epstein Dig

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets poked fun at comedian Jimmy Kimmel by claiming that the late-night talk show host’s name would be on the client list of the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This seemed to be simply another chapter in the continuing animosity between the two, which Rodgers made during his weekly appearance on ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday.

The reason for Kimmel’s vehement reply is Rodgers’ appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday.

“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, who are really hoping that doesn’t come out,” Rodgers said. “I’ll tell you what, if that list comes out, I definitely will be popping some sort of bottle.”

The 40-year-old Rodgers was discussing on the show how the official colors of the Super Bowl logo predicted the outcomes of the previous two NFL championship games, with this year’s designating a game between the 49ers and Ravens.

His former teammate A.J. Hawk interjected, “Does this have something to do with the Epstein list that came out?”

Rodgers still harbored resentment at Kimmel, 56, earlier this year after the quarterback jokingly questioned whether U.S. government UFO disclosures were a diversion from the final Epstein discoveries. McAfee smiled and clarified this to Rodgers.

Kimmel did not seem amused by the barb he leveled at Rodgers on McAfee’s program, threatening to call attorneys if Rodgers persisted in the behavior.

“For the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” Kimmel said on X. “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we  will debate the facts further in court.”

When questioned about the dispute by The Post, an ESPN representative declined to comment.

A disclaimer stating, “The following program is a collection of stooges talking about the happenings in the sports world,” airs before McAfee’s broadcast every hour. It is meant to be comedic and informative. The opinions expressed on this show do not necessarily reflect the beliefs of their peers, their boss, or ESPN.”

A federal judge in New York last month ordered the unsealing of over 200 names that had been previously concealed from court records in a case against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend and collaborator. The identities will soon be made public.

U.S. District Judge Loretta Preska provided some hints regarding the identities of around 180 John and Jane Does in a 51-page ruling outlining her reasons for choosing to keep the names redacted or to unseal them.
