In probable four-team deal surrounding Kevin Durant, Donovan Mitchell could go to the Nets

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant is reportedly wanted by a few organizations in trade. The Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors, Miami Heat, and Phoenix Suns were all identified as franchises interested in acquiring Durant in a recent report from Shams Charania of The Athletic. Some people, though, doubt that Golden State would be amenable to a reunion.

Although there have been rumors that Golden State’s players have spoken to Kevin Durant. It appears that these rumors are more based on their potential trade value than on genuine desire. One ESPN insider thinks Steph Curry has the power to put an end to the speculations surrounding Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors but has purposefully decided not to.

In exchange for Deandre Ayton, Phoenix would have to give up Mikal Bridges, and Cameron Johnson, and first-round selections in 2023, 2025, 2027, and 2029 (as well as first-round pick swaps in 2026 and 2028).

Along with many other moving components, the transaction resulted in Ben Simmons heading to Utah and Donovan Mitchell moving to Brooklyn. Because of Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Jae Crowder, and Myles Turner, the Suns will have a nearly invincible starting lineup, according to Winfield, who explained why the move would benefit them.

The NBA is in its “let’s make a deal” season. Durant has stated that he would love to be traded to the Phoenix Suns. According to reports, Jazz president Danny Ainge doubts whether Mitchell can lead a championship team as its greatest player.

Deandre Ayton has undoubtedly played his final game for Phoenix, and Myles Turner has been the subject of trade speculations in Indiana for what seems like the past three seasons. An agreement with those two at the center is a definite possibility because Ayton has previously been connected to Indiana.

The majority of the time, when a player requests a trade, it is because his contract is about to expire or, in the case of Anthony Davis in New Orleans, because he is about to start his walk year. The team now has limited leverage as a result. The player will soon be able to just depart on his own if it doesn’t bend to the player’s will and at least recover market value.

With Durant, who will soon begin the first year of a four-year, $193.6 million deal extension he agreed to with the Nets last summer, this is not the case. That indicates that Brooklyn has a deal with Durant through 2026.
