Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Jones RB: NFL Fantasy Data & Stats Speculations 2022

Player Outlook

With a regular season record of 13-4 and the top overall seed going into the postseason, the Green Bay Packers were the best club in the NFC in 2021. When the club approached the playoffs with anticipation of winning the title, running back Aaron Jones played a significant role in their triumph.

After a disheartening 13-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round, their aspirations would be dashed. Running back Aaron Jones is an intriguing candidate for your fantasy squad as the upcoming football season approaches. Jones is one of the league’s most gifted running backs, but he doesn’t see as much action as some other backs.

Jones participated in 15 games and scored 15.3 fantasy points on average. These stats aren’t terrible, but they can no longer be compared to the best backs in the league.

Bye Week: 14

Fantasy PPR Ranking: 15.5

Fantasy Points: 252.51

Only four RBs outperformed Jones through the first four games in PPR settings, where he was taken as a possible first-round choice in fantasy drafts last summer. At the end of the 2021 season, Jones had only the 22nd-most touches and the 13th-most Fantasy points per game after giving up touches to talented backup AJ Dillon.

The Green Bay Packers have two good running backs with Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon, and they share carries. This is why Jones doesn’t get the same volume as running backs like Jonathan Taylor and Derrick Henry. Jones doesn’t take a huge bulk of carries but is still an essential piece of the offense.
