Dani Alves requests his wife, Joana Sanz, to share a photo of them holding hands together

As she has stood by the former football player, Joana Sanz’s first photo with him is not shocking to everyone who has followed the tale, even though she categorically rejected their separation.

Before she deleted and reactivated her Instagram account, some suggested she was attempting to distance herself from Alves, which is why she refused to follow him back on social media.

The former Barcelona fullback was imprisoned following claims and a verdict that he had sexually assaulted a lady in December 2022 in a nightclub, luring her to a restroom in a private section of the establishment that she was unaware of.

The court determined that his actions could not be justified by drinking. Alves further attempted to argue that the victim could have fled “if she wanted to,” but the court determined that permission was not given.
