Prepare for the possibility of selecting Mixon with a first-round pick. Since you rostered him before then, you might hesitate based on prior experience, but if you had him last year, it’s not a huge deal. In 2021, Mixon finally had a breakthrough, racking up over 1,500 total yards and double-digit touchdowns while averaging 17.3 PPR points per contest.

This was made possible by the fact that he played in every game and had at least 17 touches in all but two of them. Mixon was the third-best running back in fantasy football at the end of the 2021 season, and he’ll try to top those numbers in 2022.

When he can stay healthy throughout a season, Mixon demonstrated his potential. When he gets the ball in his hands, he is a cunning, running back who can make opponents miss. He is also powerful enough to break tackles as he moves around the field.
