Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo reacts to LeBron James spending $1.5M per year on his physique
LeBron James, according to Mav Carter, spends $1,500,000 a year on his physique. He makes use of NormaTec leg boots, cryotherapy, and hyperbaric chambers. Additionally, he has personal trainers, chefs, etc. He follows a rigid schedule and diet. He made an investment in his body, allowing him to still be dominant at 37.
Giannis made reference to James’ rumored annual expenditure of $1.5 million to maintain his peak physical condition.
Giannis was being questioned about LeBron James in 2021. Many issues surfaced at this point. According to the report, here is what the Bucks star had to say.
“I find it remarkable that LeBron is still in excellent physical condition, is the best player in the world, and is only 18 years old. That’s extremely interesting, I must say. How does he accomplish that?” he said.
Giannis on LeBron James:
“You gotta spend $1.5M on your body? I don’t know if I can do that. I’m too cheap for that. No, I’m joking. It’s crazy to me, man. He’s been so consistent. It’s fun to watch.”

Antetokounmpo added, “He has been reliable for 18 years. He never leaves. He consistently turns up. That is incredible. He receives credit without a doubt, but I believe he deserves more. 18 years of it, boys, that’s tough. And perhaps I’ll be able to attend. I’m hoping to continue doing this for 18 to 20 years. That is the aim. Do you have to spend $1,500,000 on your body? I’m not sure if I can pull that off. For that, I’m too cheap. I’m not serious. Man, it seems ridiculous to me. He’s been very reliable. I enjoy watching it. Absolutely entertaining to watch.”

Additionally, Antetokounmpo is a talented athlete. Few NBA players can match the dominance of the 27-year-old, and few can match his physicality. He is one of the select few athletes that could match James’ longevity.
Arguably the best player in the NBA right now is Giannis Antetokounmpo. At the age of 27, the Greek Freak earned six All-Star and All-NBA nods in addition to an NBA championship, a Finals MVP, two regular season MVPs, and a Defensive Player of the Year award. Rarely does the Milwaukee Bucks’ star player have a bad game.
Due to his exceptional statistics, Antetokounmpo is a regular MVP contender, much like LeBron James. Even before they reached their primes, both players made significant strides in the league as youthful superstars.
