After an offseason marred by doubts about their young franchise quarterback Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals begin the 2022 campaign. The Cardinals had a difficult 2021 season; they faded after a strong start and were humiliated by the Rams in their wild-card playoff matchup.

Arizona started the season 8-0, buoyed by the exploits of Kyler Murray and a potent running attack that included James Conner and do-it-all back Chase Edmonds.

However, as the wounds knocked, they fell down. Maxx Williams, Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and J. J. Watt all missed time due to injury, shattering the cohesion Kliff Kingsbury’s team had established during the first two months. Can Arizona bounce back in 2022 and establish itself as a legitimate NFC contender, as many said they would?

The squad will play in four primetime contests against significant opposition, with the most well-known contest on Christmas Eve on NBC during “Sunday Night Football” versus the Buccaneers and Tom Brady.

Additionally, the Cardinals will host the Saints on “Thursday Night Football” on Amazon Prime on October 20 and the New England Patriots on “Monday Night Football” on ESPN on December 12. This is in addition to the Nov. 21 Monday night matchup in Mexico versus the San Francisco 49ers, which was already confirmed.

Arizona Cardinals final record predictions

Four of the seven teams the Cardinals will play in 2022 made it through the first round of the playoffs in 2021: the Buccaneers, Chiefs, Rams, and 49ers. A problematic schedule of home games may be in store for the Cardinals.

Although Arizona has a pretty demanding schedule, the squad also has a few intriguing matches. Arizona’s scheduling strength allows it to demonstrate its value. It will compete against some of the league’s top clubs this season. The Cardinals may become a postseason power if they perform to the best of their abilities. We predict the Cardinals to finish the season 10-7.
