It appears like one of the Ravens’ starting defensive linemen won’t be available. It’s possible that Michael Pierce’s first season back with the Ravens won’t last very long. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the veteran nose tackle tore his biceps during the team’s victory in New England during Week 3. Five of the six NFL seasons Pierce, 29, has played have been in Baltimore. However, the evaluations and assessment methods are still in progress. Michael Pierce, a Samford University graduate who went undrafted in 2016, played every snap in his debut season for the Baltimore Ravens. In that year, he recorded 35 tackles, five tackles for loss, five quarterback hits, and two sacks. Pierce missed nine games in the previous year while playing on a three-year, $27MM contract that the Vikings approved.
