NFL Week 3 Fashion Statements Kyler Murray, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady

Jalen Hurts, a quarterback, had his stock rise in Week 3 while others saw theirs decline. Behind his injured offensive line on Sunday, seasoned quarterback Tom Brady continued to endure a unique level of uncertainty. But regardless of how well a player plays on the field, he still has the chance to stand out through his game-day attire.

Take a look at the outfit checks for Week 3 –

Tom Brady

Wearing a T-shirt with your own face on it is often very corny. However, Tom Brady disregarded convention by wearing an unconventional outfit to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game against another renowned quarterback Aaron Rodgers (like Brady himself). The quarterback was sporting a white long-sleeve shirt from his Brady line that featured an image of himself as a youngster with untidy hair and a goofy smile. While there are always new fashion trends, “Greatness lasts forever.”

Devonta Freeman

Baltimore has run for at least 100 yards in 41 straight games coming into its game against the Detroit Lions. That is the second-longest such streak in NFL history, behind only the Pittsburgh Steelers (43) from 1974 to 1977.

Jackson has another chance to make history as Week 3 begins. He shares the record for the most 100-yard rushing games in a career (including playoffs) with Michael Vick.

Detroit, hoping to avoid its first 0-3 start since 2015, when the Lions went 7-9, is 4-1 all-time against Baltimore.

The Ravens’ stylish and assured demeanour heading into Week 3 is understandable.

Kyler Murray

After his comeback victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2, Kyler Murray was on a high and was compared to Michael Vick. The quarterback not only held his own against the icon on the field, but he also demonstrated his swagger off of it. Murray wore a complete green Vanson leather outfit when he came at the Arizona Cardinals vs Los Angeles Rams game.

(Note also how Marco Wilson’s Supreme x Umbro Mexico shirt and Prada sunglasses looked good on the entire team.)

QB Patrick Mahomes

The 2018 MVP had developed a strong preference for wearing the distinctive blue of his second team, the Kansas City Royals, since just over a year ago when he bought a stake in their ownership. He has a 16-2 career record versus the AFC West and a Total QBR of 78.8 heading into this divisional showdown. Since the metric started being monitored in 2006, the latter score has been the highest by any player.

Cameron Heyward

The four-time Pro Bowler paid tribute to his late father, Craig “Ironhead” Heyward, who during the course of an 11-year career played for the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Rams, and New Orleans Saints.

The younger Heyward wore his father’s Rams jersey from 1997, which has the number 34.
