‘Billionaires can’t afford to buy food from out’ – NBA fans roast LeBron James for bringing his own snacks to Summer League game

LeBron James has established himself as one of the all-time greats in the sport of basketball. The Lakers player is a businessman off the court, and he seems to be one who manages his finances well. But James, the great player for the Los Angeles Lakers, is a billionaire who still brings his own food to sporting events, as he demonstrated on Friday when he stood courtside at the NBA Summer League.

James was observed consuming a small bag of nuts that he brought from home when the Lakers were playing the Phoenix Suns. NBA Twitter swiftly brought up the fact that “LeSnacks” is a billionaire and continues to boycott concessions at sporting games.

Food and beverages are sometimes exceedingly expensive to buy at an arena, yet James is a top athlete who tracks every calorie that enters his body.

James had the option of paying any amount for a burger or a plate of nachos, but he opted to satisfy his “munchies” with an almond-based nutritious snack.

There is no denying that, especially at the professional level, concession prices at athletic events may be astronomical. James, who is a millionaire, a player with several investments, and the second-highest paid athlete in the world after footballer Lionel Messi chose to take the economically sensible course.

NBA Fans had some hilarious views on LeBron James bringing his own snacks to the Lakers clash vs the Suns this past weekend. On Twitter, one wrote, “Can’t believe how billionaires look to save money. I mean LeBron even bought snacks from home so he couldn’t have to spend on it in the arena.” while another added, “Great of LeBron James to advertise bringing snacks from home. A great way to ruin a nice day out when you want to spend money on others.”
