Dyson Daniels’ mom steals the show at 2022 NBA Draft, Twitterati goes crazy for Christian Braun’s mother

On Thursday night, Dyson Daniels’ mother stole the show at the 2022 NBA Draft. Daniels took the podium with mom Brikitta Kool-Daniels in his arms before being taken by the Pelicans with the No. 8 selection in the NBA – a family scene that has now gone viral.

“Dyson Daniels is going to be a trending issue tonight,” tweeted reporter Troy Machir, along with a photo of Daniels and his mother, who was wearing a white slit dress and open-toe shoes. “NBA Twitter is going to explode out after witnessing Dyson Daniels’ mother,” one user predicted. “Dyson Daniel’s mother is a generational potential,” another admirer tweeted.

Another fan wondered if Daniels would become a hot topic because of his mother or because of his silver metallic costume, which one admirer compared to “foil paper.” Daniels’ mother also posted a lot of images on Instagram from within Barclays Center in Brooklyn throughout the night.

Twitterati reacts to Christain Braun’s Mother at NBA Draft

Several elite prospects’ parents took to Twitter on Thursday in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, but none greater so than the mother of former Kansas player Christian Braun.

Braun, the Nuggets’ 21st overall pick, greeted his family within the Barclays Center after discovering his NBA fate, with photographers — and social media — catching sight of his biggest supporter, mom Lisa.

One fan wrote, “Twitter is WILD with Christian Braun’s mom,” while another said, “Christian Braun’s mom wins the draught.” As Braun’s mother became a social media topic, a close relative (Owen Gish) commented to a report about her becoming the draft’s breakout star, to which her supposed Twitter account responded, “You know O.”

Who are the top players at the 2022 NBA Draft?

Braun, a 6-foot-6 player who spent 3 seasons for the Jayhawks, was seen hugging Lisa, who was dressed in a crimson gown for her son’s big night.

Basketball has always been a part of the Braun family, since Lisa attended Missouri and her husband, Don, attended St. Louis University. Braun, the eldest of three siblings, is most like his mom, according to Don.

Don told Kansas station WIBW in March, “I believe anyone who saw her play back in the day understands that toughness is how he was bred.” “I don’t think anyone who competes for [Kansas coach] Bill Self is off the court until they’re tough.”

Lisa acknowledged her “ecstasy” at seeing Braun “develop and progress.” During his junior season, when the Jayhawks won the national title, Braun totalled 14.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
