Cade Otton Will Suit Up Against Carolina
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton (quadriceps) was removed from the injury report, meaning he'll play on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. There wasn't much doubt, especially since he was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. The 23-year-old hasn't been the most productive fantasy performer this season, compiling 39 receptions for 369 yards and two touchdowns. However, Otton was targeted 23 times in December (four games), so there is some potential for those needing a streaming option for Week 17.

He continues to split time with Cameron Brate and has caught 13 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown over the last four weeks. The 23-year-old will have two more chances to log a full practice ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Panthers. Brate would see an uptick in targets if Otton is forced to miss Week 17. If active, Otton is mainly an option in deep-league formats against a Panthers defense that ranks 16th in DVOA against opposing tight ends.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie tight end Cade Otton (personal) and left tackle Donovan Smith (elbow) are both doubtful to play in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers. Otton missed practice all week, while Smith sandwiched two DNPs around a limited practice on Thursday. Otton has just one catch for four yards on two targets in his first two NFL games. With the rookie likely inactive, it should pave the way for Kyle Rudolph to be active for the first time this year behind Cameron Brate. Smith was injured in the season opener and is set to miss his second straight game. Josh Wells should continue to protect quarterback Tom Brady's blind side against Green Bay.
