    Joshua Palmer Dealing With Concussion

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer (concussion) did not practice with the team on Wednesday ahead of a Week 7 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. Palmer has entered the league's concussion protocol and should be considered highly questionable to suit up on Sunday. Fantasy managers should monitor Los Angeles' practice reports throughout the week to see if Palmer or Keenan Allen (hamstring) will have a chance to play. If Palmer is ruled out, DeAndre Carter would likely see the biggest increase in opportunities.

    Joshua Palmer Active Against Browns

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer (ankle) is officially active in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns after he came into this game listed as questionable. With Keenan Allen (hamstring) still out, Palmer should have a considerable role in the passing attack against Cleveland despite catching his only target for 25 yards while playing a season-low 56 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 4 win over the Houston Texans. In Week 3, Palmer had six catches on nine targets for 99 yards, and he scored the previous week with Allen sidelined. Despite his rough game last week, Palmer could be in for a bounce-back performance this week and is an acceptable flex option for fantasy managers against the Browns.

Joshua Palmer Questionable To Play In Week 5

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but has ultimately been listed as questionable ahead of a Week 5 matchup with the Cleveland Browns. Palmer stepped up in Keenan Allen's (hamstring) absence in Weeks 2 and 3, but suffered an ankle injury in last week's contest and only recorded one reception. It bodes well for Palmer's availability that he was able to log a full practice, and with Allen ruled out once again, Palmer could thrive if active. He will be a risky flex play with upside assuming he is able to go on Sunday.

Joshua Palmer Limited In Wednesday's Practice

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Keenan Allen (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, and his status is in question for Week 5. Palmer initially injured his ankle in the Week 4 win over the Houston Texans but is expected to play in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns. He will continue to see an uptick in targets if Allen is ruled out again. Palmer has caught 14 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown over four games in 2022. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation, as Palmer will only be a solid flex play if Allen remains sidelined.

    Joshua Palmer Clears Concussion Protocol

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer (concussion) cleared the league's concussion protocol and was doing individual drills in training camp practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Brandon Staley. Palmer has been a standout in camp this summer and caught three passes for 75 yards and a touchdown in the second preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys. The 22-year-old is solidifying the No. 3 receiver job behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and should be able to improve on his 33-353-4 line in 17 games (five starts) as a rookie in 2021. Palmer is absolutely worth a late-round draft pick in deeper fantasy leagues in LA's improving offense under young quarterback Justin Herbert.
