Last year, he missed one game with the same injury, but put on a harness the following week and ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers. Fantasy managers can feel confident in starting Cook as an RB1 option this week against a Saints defense that has given up 418 rushing yards through three games.

The good news is this is something he has been able to play through in the past, so all signs point towards him putting on a harness and playing in Week 4 against the Saints. Still, fantasy managers need to have a backup plan in case the stud back is to be held out. If Cook is surprisingly ruled out, Alexander Mattison would enter must-start territory as a borderline RB1 option.

This is reportedly the same shoulder the three-time Pro Bowler dislocated last season that sidelined him for one game.
