Zane Gonzalez, also known as Holden Fortunato Gonzalez, is a placekicker for the NFL’s Carolina Panthers in American football. He attended Arizona State University where he played college football before being selected by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Gonzalez now owns the Division I NCAA record for career field goals made. He was a 2016 undisputed All-American. In 2016, he received the Lou Groza Award.

From 2013 until 2016, Zane played college football for the Sun Devils. Gonzalez was chosen by the Cleveland Browns in the 224th overall pick of the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $2.48 million contract with the Browns on May 16, 2017, with a signing bonus of $89,156. During Cleveland’s 2017 training camp, Gonzalez fought incumbent kicker Cody Parkey for the starting position. Gonzalez was chosen by the Browns as their season-long kicker on September 1, 2017.
