WAG For WAG: Brittany Mahomes Got Kelly Stafford’s Support Amid Her SI Swimsuit Debut

Brittany Mahomes, along with several other spouses and companions of athletic stars like Kristin Juszczyk and Ayesha Curry, built her own legacy before making her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut. Kelly, the wife of Matthew Stafford, also cited Brittany as an inspiration.

Mahomes is wed to Patrick, the standout quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, but she doesn’t want to settle for a simple existence as a wife. Instead, she pursues activism and commercial endeavors, as evidenced by her most recent endeavor into modeling for the renowned magazine, which has won her praise from Stafford.

“These are just a few of the many women who I look up to,” stated Kelly Stafford on Instagram. “The ones that have used their position in this life to build businesses, give back and overall do good in this world.

“Use it to support your family, use it to give back, use it to create positive change, use it for good. Even if you misstep along the way, stay true to yourself and your values and you will do more good than bad.”

Mahomes addresses his critics

As usual, Mahomes faced a barrage of criticism from internet trolls who felt she wasn’t deserving of her notoriety and position in the celebrity community after making her debut.

“I’m here to tell you. People will dislike you. People will love you,” said Mahomes on her own Instagram. “Don’t let any of that define you. KEEP SHINING and being YOU.”

Just before her husband’s game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, she was promoting a red bikini, the color of his NFL team.
