“They Created a Monster” – Arizona Cardinals Veteran Trashes Kyler Murray Over Work Ethic as 2X Pro Bowler Faces Heavy Criticism
The contract discussions between Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals were one of the major stories of the previous offseason. The case was extensively reported by news sources, from the team’s insertion of a homework provision to the player deleting all references to the team from his social media accounts. Kyler Murray does not appear to be well-liked in the locker room. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback has taken a lot of heat this season, and it shows no signs of abating even after Kliff Kingsbury was let go.
The franchise signed quarterback Kyler Murray to a five-year, $230 million contract in the summer, making him the sole significant holdover. That significant deal might not have been the best option, according to an unnamed veteran of the Cardinals.

One of the running gags about the quarterback was that the team’s chances would decline whenever the most recent Call of Duty was out each season. Every second that was used on the game was a minute that could have been used for planning. With his contract, Murray became one of the NFL’s highest-paid quarterbacks and athletes. But it wasn’t without controversy.

According to rumors, the contract had an amendment stipulating that each week of the season, the player was to spend at least four hours each week researching the opposition. It’s uncertain if Kyler Murray, who just underwent surgery for an ACL tear, will be available for the start of the Cardinals’ 2023 season.
