Following their arrest on charges of assaulting a public official, the 17-year-old player and his 22-year-old brother both paid a $20,000 bail and were freed on Wednesday, according to the Montgomery County Jail.

Just before ten o’clock on Friday night, sheriff deputies were summoned to Willis High School, according to Click2Houston.com. About 50 miles separate the institution from Houston.

A report of an attack in the parking lot prompted them to come. Jevin Allen and Jerrick Allen were located there. After striking an unnamed person, the two were taken into custody and accused of assaulting the basketball coach.

“According to the coach, (the player) was benched at the game due to his behavior toward an opposing team player, which infuriated (the player) and his family,” stated the authorities.

The athlete and his family were still there when the squad returned to Willis High School, according to the coach, who stated he entered the building and then went outside to the parking lot, according to the police. The athlete “punched the victim in the face” after the family confronted the coach and got into a heated argument. Then, according to the authorities, the player’s 22-year-old brother “also began assaulting the coach.”

When another coach witnessed the incident, he and several close individuals tried to stop it. The suspects are said to have left the scene after the brawl was broken up.

The player was pulled from Willis’ game at Conroe High School hours before the alleged Dec. 5 attack, which occurred around 50 miles north of Houston, for fighting with an opponent and referees, according to his coach.

According to Clark, 37, he asked the 17-year-old to calm down, but the youngster aggressively warned his teammates and an assistant coach not to talk to him, which resulted in the benching.

Following Willis’ victory in the away game, the suspect’s mother and brother assaulted the coach with a flurry of expletives.

“If I didn’t keep my cool, something could have happened at the opposing team’s school,” the third-year head coach said.

It was discovered that the Texas school coach had facial, neck, and head injuries. Authorities identified the Allens as suspects based on security video.
