Steven Adams has been in the NBA for 12 years now and in that time, the man from New Zealand has played for three teams in the league. For seven years, he was their starting center before he was traded to the Pelicans.

Adams was drafted as the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2013 draft by the Oklahoma City Thunder. He spent seven seasons with OKC. On 24 November 2020, Adams was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans.[42] As part of the deal, he signed a two-year, $35 million extension with the Pelicans.
