Stephen Curry Adds Another Major Award in His Bag, Formerly Won By Tom Brady, LeBron James and Michael Jordan

Stephen Curry has expanded his list of accomplishments. He received Sportsperson of the Year honors from Sports Illustrated on Tuesday. Curry had a great year on the hardwood. In the postseason, he scored 27.4 points on average per game while guiding the Warriors to yet another title. Off the field, Curry received his diploma from Davidson. He would get up early in the spring to do his online coursework. He achieved his fourth victory.

After averaging a productive 31.2 points per game against the league’s top defensive squad, he was named Finals MVP. 13 years after leaving Davidson after his junior season to join the NBA; he received his degree from Davidson.

Stephen Curry wins Sports Illustrated Player of the Year

There’s no denying that Curry has had a great year. Congratulations to Curry on receiving this honor. Curry was selected as SI’s Sportsperson of the Year because he has set a tremendous example for his followers both on and off the court.

Sports Illustrated has awarded the Sportsman of the Year every year since the magazine’s founding in 1954. Both Americans and non-Americans are eligible, but historically, American citizens have made up the great majority of the winners. The only people who have won the prize more than once are Tiger Woods, Tom Brady, and LeBron James.

The sharpshooter said that he tracks receipts in his Sports Illustrated interview. This explains why it’s not unexpected that he maintains his motivation and consistently outperforms the opposition. Basketball has been dramatically transformed by Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors superstar has permanently altered the NBA because of his remarkable 3-point shooting and seemingly endless range.
