Soccer Star Roman Weidenfeller’s Ex-wife Found Love Again In A Boy With 18 Years Age Gap

The stunning ex-wife of World Cup winner Roman Weidenfeller has moved on to a new partner who is eighteen years younger than him.

During the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the goalkeeper was a member of the German team.

In November 2023, Weidenfeller and Lisa Rossenbach announced their separation from one another. They had been married for a year.

They appeared to be done for good now, having previously broken up in 2018 and then getting back together two years later.

The reason behind this is that, according to Bild, Lisa has a new partner: 25-year-old Augsburg star Arne Maier.

Maier and Lisa are 12 years apart, but their relationship appears to be going well since the midfielder used his hands to make a ‘L’ symbol after scoring a goal for his sweetie.

The two apparently got together in November and formally announced their relationship at the start of this year.

That followed Lisa’s civil divorce from Weidenfeller, who made the announcement on social media.

He penned: “It’s true, Lisa and I are no longer a couple. We have separated amicably.

“We unfortunately had to realise that it (their marriage) wasn’t going to work in the long term. For us, our two children come first. As parents, we will of course look after their welfare together.”

Together, Weidenfeller and Lisa are parents to Leonard, age 8, and Luna, age 1.

After making 453 appearances for Borussia Dortmund and winning the German Cup and Bundesliga twice, the veteran goalkeeper announced his retirement from the game in 2018.
