Owens and Biles seemed to be having a great time at the ballgame despite the Reds shutting out the ChiSox 5-0. Throughout the game, the Bears player’s new contract was celebrated by the spectators, who gave them support and cheers.

Upon signing a new deal with the Bears, Owens stated what follows.

“Regardless of my role or whatever it’s going to be, I’m going to maximize it. I’m coming here to compete. Obviously, no one wants to come in and say, ‘I’m coming in to play as a backup.’ I know what I can do on special teams, on defense. I feel like that’s what makes me a very valuable asset to a team… I’m excited for the challenge,” said Jonathan Owens
