San Francisco 49ers’ Deebo Samuel Fantasy: WR NFL Data & Stats Speculations 2022 Posted on August 19, 2022August 19, 2022 by Jack Marks Player Outlook The 2022 season will be the second season in the NFL for Trey Lance. Fans will be hoping that a second season together will increase the chemistry between their star quarterback and their star WR in Deebo Samuel. In most leagues, Samuel can be picked up as early as the end of the second round. 2021 was arguably his best season to date as he was incredibly efficient and consistent throughout the course of the season. There is a strong consensus among fans as well as pundits that a similar level of performance can be expected from Samuel this season as well. San Francisco 49ers’ Deebo Samuel celebrates his 26-yard touchdown run in 3rd quarter against Dallas Cowboys during NFL NFC Wild Card Playoff game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday, January 16, 2022. The talented wideout finished last season as the WR2 overall and in points per game (18.8). Samuel played 16 of 17 games last season and caused a problem for fantasy team owners as they did not know whether to consider him a running back or a wide receiver. Deebo split his time equally between both positions in the San Francisco 49ers’ offense, showing just how versatile and important he is to the team.
