San Diego Padres Printable Regular Season Schedule – 2023
In many ways, the 2022 season for the San Diego Padres was a history-making season. The Padres clinched their first wild card berth since the pandemic shortened 2020 season and their first in a full season since the 2006 season. They went on to defeat the New York Mets in the wild card series, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the divisional series. The team then went on to face the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Championship Series, the Padres’ first championship series since 1998. Unfortunately, they lost the series in five games.

‘The script is ready:’ Padres no longer the Dodgers‘ ‘little brother’ in NL West
“We were the little brother to the Dodgers for so many years,’’ says Padre veteran pitcher Drew Pomeranz. “They always had their way with us. But you could see the shift coming, and then it finally came when we beat those guys in the playoffs. That was so huge for our organization.’’
Says veteran reliever Craig Stammen, the Padres’ longest-tenured player: “There were years we thought we were going to chase them down, and they kicked our butt. Well, we finally beat them on the big stage. It creates a different belief.’’
