QB Tua Tagovailoa’s Mom Slams Hater For Calling Her Son “Worst QB”

The aforementioned internet troll is obviously just making fun of Tua Tagovailoa. Not to be overlooked, however, is the fact that the quarterback most recently guided the Miami Dolphins to an 11-6 record, good for second place in the AFC behind the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.

Even if the Dolphins were eliminated by the Chiefs in the Wild Card round, it is still undeniable that Tagovailoa is far superior than many NFL quarterbacks.

At the end of the 2023 season, Tagovailoa amassed 4624 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. With one of the strongest offenses in the NFL throughout the season, the Dolphins saw him complete 69.3 percent of his throws.

The team still sees him as their future quarterback despite his lackluster performance in the Wildcard Round defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Recently, Tagovailoa’s mother Diane shared a picture of her son and her spouse on social media, wishing the Dolphins player a happy birthday. One social media user responded to it by labelling Tua Tagovailoa the “worst quarterback” he had ever seen.

It’s likely that he has witnessed and heard a wide range of hurtful comments from others who are attempting to hurt him. That hasn’t stopped Tua from realizing his goal of playing in the NFL, though. Miami chose him fifth overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Tua is an important part of Miami, which is largely seen as one of the most explosive offensive teams in the NFL, even if postseason success has eluded the Dolphins with him at quarterback.

After writing, “Worst qb ive seen in my life,” the fan was immediately ratio’d on X. Though almost everyone who responded to the fan blasted her, Diane Tagovailoa may have had the greatest response:

“Your mom must be proud,” she wrote, instantly getting applause from other fans for her standing up for him.

“I will support your son forever! He’s been my QB1 since day one….TUA TUA TUA,” one user replied.

“Don’t listen to the haters, Tua is amazing,” wrote another.

“COOK HIM MAMA TAGOVAILOA,” a third wrote.

What ethnicity is Tua Tagovailoa?

As the eldest of four children in a Samoan family, Tagovailoa was born at Ewa Beach, Hawaii, to Galu and Diane Tagovailoa. His parents reported that when he was a tiny boy, he slept with a football under his arm every night. It was believed that he had a keen interest in football growing up.

When did Tua get married?

Given their comparatively youthful ages, it should come as no surprise that Gore and Tagovailoa haven’t been married for very long. In July 2022, just before the Dolphins’ training camp began, the pair exchanged vows, making their wedding less than two years ago.

Tua got her first tattoos when?

Tagovailoa unveiled a new arm-sleeve tattoo on his  right arm during the first day of camp on Wednesday. Tagovailoa was sporting a tattoo on his right shoulder during minicamp in June.
