Police Reports: Colts Owner Jim Irsay Was Found Unresponsive Post Suspected Overdose

Emergency responders were called to Irsay’s house on December 8 at 4:30 a.m., according to data from the Carmel Police Department that FOX59/CBS4 requested under the Access to Public data Act (APRA).

According to a statement sent by the Colts to Fox News Digital, “Mr. Irsay continues to recover from his respiratory illness.” “We will have no further comment on his personal health, and we continue to ask that Jim and his family’s privacy be respected.”

The Colts said earlier this month that Irsay was receiving treatment for a “severe respiratory illness.” It was anticipated that he wouldn’t be able to attend an event in Los Angeles later that week.

“Jim Irsay is currently being treated for a severe respiratory illness. While this unfortunately means he won’t be able to perform with his band this week in Los Angeles, he is receiving excellent care and looks forward to returning to the stage as soon as possible,” the team’s Jan. 9 statement read.

According to the complaint, Jim was “turning blue” and having breathing problems, narrowed pupils, and a weak pulse when officials finally showed up at his residence.

The police rubbed Irsay’s chest in an attempt to rouse him, but they were unable. However, police reported in their report that Irsay “responded slightly” after receiving a dose of Narcan.
