“No One’s Feeling Sorry for the Bucs”- Tom Brady Shares His Thoughts on an ‘Unfamiliar’ Situation in His Career

Ever since Tom Brady decided to return to NFL action, things have just not been working out for him. The seven-time Super Bowl winner is heading a team that is currently weak offensively and has a record of 3-4 after seven games in the 2022 NFL season. For the first time in over two decades, Tom Brady lost three games on the trot and has lost five in his last six.

On top of all this, Tom Brady’s decision to return to the NFL has cost him dearly in his personal life as he announced his divorce from his wife of 13 years last week. Many reports suggest that Brady’s decision to return to the NFL after initially retiring was the final nail in the coffin for their marriage.

However, even with all of this going on, Tom Brady maintains a positive outlook on things and shared his thoughts on the recent episode of his podcast. He said, “You know what, I’m glad it’s unfamiliar,”  Tom Brady said on the latest episode of his Let’s Go! podcast. “I want this to be as unfamiliar as possible. Losing sucks and we’ve put a lot into winning, just like every team does. And no one’s feeling sorry for the Bucs. We know that and we’ve got to go change it. So I think the attitude is, there’s no surrender.”

Brady continued, “So we’re gonna go out there this week and we’re gonna try to be the best we could be this week. Who cares what happened in the past eight weeks? Our record is what it is. We’re not changing it. We can’t change any game that we’ve had. All we can do is learn from the last eight weeks and try to apply it in a winning way this week. And, you know, it’s a big challenge for us. So we’re gonna see what we were made of. And I think time will tell all.”

There are a lot of questions about Brady’s state of mind and ability to perform, given the drastic changes that are going on in his personal life. Next up for the Buccaneers are the Los Angeles Rams next weekend.
