The announcement of the top four teams advancing to the College Football Playoffs on Saturday set the sports world on fire. Due to the ruling, one-loss SEC champion Alabama was ranked as the No. 4 team while unbeaten ACC champion Florida State was eliminated from the Playoffs. It seems that as a result, Seminoles supporters gave Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban a hard time on his cell phone.

According to Rivals, Saban informed his players at Alabama’s awards ceremony on Sunday night that his phone number had been exposed online and that he had been inundated with calls.

Though they haven’t yet posted it online, the Alabama-based news organization on Rivals.com supposedly got a video of Saban’s message to his players. The Crimson Tide was joined in the playoffs by Texas, Washington, and Michigan, eliminating the unbeaten Florida State.

“I’ve had probably over 250 anonymous callers today, calling me every name in the book, talking about how we shouldn’t be in the playoff,” Saban stated. “So we still have naysayers out there. We still have players who don’t believe in us.

“Most of these people are from Florida. I don’t know how in the hell they got my number, but it is out there.”
