NHL Player Adam Ruzicka’s Video With Cocaine Like Looking Substance Goes Viral

Following a dubious social media post, forward Adam Ruzicka has been placed on unconditional waivers by the Arizona Coyotes, thereby ending his contract.

NHL Player Adam Ruzicka’s Video With Cocaine-Like-Looking Substance Goes Viral

The Associated Press said on Friday that Ruzicka shared a video on his Instagram story that featured his face before switching to a credit card and a white powder that looked like cocaine. Screen captures of the video are still making the rounds even after the post has been removed.

The Coyotes declared on Friday that Ruzicka, 24, is going on waivers in order to terminate his contract due to the attention he is receiving. The group declined to speak further.

Ruzicka hasn’t been in the desert for very long, which makes her story intriguing. In actuality, despite getting acquired off waivers at the end of January, he only appeared in three games with the team. The Calgary Flames, who drafted him in 2017, were the team he had previously played for.

Ruzicka made one of the worst social media choices since Morant’s gun-flashing binge last year, if the cocaine in the video is indeed what it appears to be.

But it’s one of those things where you just have to hope that he takes what he’s learned from it and gets the support he needs. He is a fairly reliable player who finished the previous season with a very good 20 points in 44 games. That’s not exactly setting the world on fire, but a team looking for depth down the middle — especially at an affordable price — could see him as an option.

Ruzicka may or may not follow a similar path, but it might be challenging given that he uploaded and shot video of himself seemingly flashing a drug that is illegal.

Ruzicka’s firing follows the Coyotes’ decision to terminate player Alex Galchenyuk’s contract after his arrest on July 9 for hit-and-run and disorderly conduct. After signing with the Coyotes, Galchenyuk was released after just 13 days; he is currently playing in Russia. Later on, he entered the NHL/NHLPA assistance program and apologized to the police.

Is Adam Ruzicka related to Vladimir Ruzicka?

Then, perhaps, I can seize the opportunity and do well. No, even though he goes by Rosy today, he is not connected to Vladimir Ruzicka, the five-year NHL player who scored 75 points in a season for the 1991–92 Boston Bruins. He has been used as a center ever since he was a young boy.
