NFL Week 2 FanDuel DFS Lineup Advice Early Games : The NFL season is in full swing after an exciting Week 1 that was full of surprises. New Orleans took care of business against the Green Bay Packers behind Jameis Winston’s massive day. Pittsburgh Steelers defeated Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
The surprises carried over to the fantasy football world. Jameis Winston put together a 29.62 performance against the Packers. Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray led all NFL quarterbacks with 34.56 fantasy points. Rob Gronkowski looked like the Gronk from New England posting 25 fantasy points against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.
Each week Fanduel has a plethora of contests for NFL fantasy fans. Let’s look at the best picks for the early games in Week 2.
Best options for Fanduels Week 2 NFL contests
QB Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers ($7,700)
The New Orleans Saints had many questions heading into their Week 1 matchup against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. New Orleans was kicking off their first NFL season without Drew Brees, and most of the Saints’ questions were at quarterback. Jameis Winston patiently waited for his opportunity to be the starting quarterback in New Orleans.

Winston spent that time improving his skillset. Winston tallied up 29.62 fantasy points last weekend against the Packers. The former Buccaneers quarterback completed 14 of his 20 pass attempts for 148 yards and five touchdowns.
New Orleans will face a Carolina Panthers defense that gave up 258 yards and two touchdowns against rookie quarterback Zach Wilson. It may be difficult for Winston to throw five touchdowns Sunday, but his passing yards will likely increase. Winston will probably throw three to four touchdowns and rush for more yards against Carolina.
RB Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans ($8,400)
The Cleveland Browns have two talented running backs in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Cleveland utilizes both running backs, but Chubb is their workhorse. Nick Chubb rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1.
That performance notched 21.1 fantasy points for Cleveland’s running back. Cleveland welcomes the Houston Texans for their home opener on Sunday. Last season Nick Chubb rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries against the Texans last season.
RB Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Chicago Bears ($7,800)
The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off a hard-fought victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1. Cincinnati ran the football with a purpose behind Joe Mixon’s big day. Joe Mixon rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries in Week 1.
The Chicago Bears struggled to stop the passing game of the Los Angeles Rams last week, and Cincinnati also showed a lot of success in Week 1, passing the ball. Look for the Bengals to get Mixon in a rhythm early to set up their passing offense. Fantasy owners can expect a repeat of Mixon’s 23 point performance against Minnesota.

WR Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles ($6,900)
Deebo Samuel was one of the many San Francisco 49ers that dealt with the injury bug last season. Samuel came back better than ever in Week 1. San Francisco’s wideout caught nine of his 12 targets for 189 yards and a touchdown.

2. Jarvis Landry 61
3. Rondale Moore 57

Deebo Samuel appeared in 15 games during his rookie season. During the 15 games, Samuel posted 132.1 fantasy points. Last season the 49ers wideout registered 47.7 fantasy points in seven games. The former South Carolina wideout is off to a hot start posting 22.9 fantasy points in Week 1.
WR Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans ($6,800)
The Houston Texans surrendered 332 receiving yards to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. Trevor Lawrence also threw three touchdowns against the Texans’ secondary. Baker Mayfield is looking at Lawrence’s performance and is patiently waiting to light up the scoreboard on Sunday.
Cleveland has ruled out O’dell Beckham Jr. for their home opener. That makes Jarvis Landry an excellent option for fantasy lineup owners. Landry caught all five of his targets for 71 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1. The Browns’ wideout recorded 16.9 fantasy points in their season opener.
WR Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams vs. Indianapolis Colts ($6,200)
The Matthew Stafford era has begun in Los Angeles, and it’s off to a tremendous start. Rams wideout Cooper Kupp has shown great chemistry with Stafford. Kupp caught seven of his ten targets for 108 yards and a touchdown against Chicago in Week 1.
Cooper Kupp’s success brought in 20.3 fantasy points. Kupp has been a reliable target for the Rams’ offense in the past. Jared Goff showed great success with Kupp, and that’s carrying over to Stafford. NFL fantasy lineup owners can expect the Rams to air the ball out against the Colts, which in return, makes Kupp likely to repeat his performance from Week 1.
TE Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders vs. Pittsburgh Steelers ($7,000)
Derek Carr’s favorite target is the Raiders tight end, Darren Waller. Las Vegas targeted the tight end 19 times against the Baltimore Ravens. Waller caught ten passes for 105 yards and a touchdown, which totaled 21.5 fantasy points.

The Steelers are a tough team defensively, but Darren Waller will receive a good amount of targets on Sunday. Waller recorded double-digit fantasy points nine times last season, and Derek Carr will target Waller more than the other wideouts, which will lead to success for fantasy lineup owners that draft Waller in Week 2.
Flex Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Chicago Bears ($5,500)
Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow picked up where they left off at LSU in Week 1. Chase led the Bengals in catches, targets, and receiving yards against Minnesota. The rookie wideout caught five of his seven targets for 101 yards and a touchdown in Week 1.
Ja’Marr Chase’s touchdown came on a 50-yard pass from Joe Burrow in the first half’s final minute. Chase posted 18.4 fantasy points in Week 1. The Bengals now enter Week 2 against a Bears secondary that Matthew Stafford torched, and fantasy owners can expect a repeat performance from the rookie in Week 2.
Defense New England Patriots vs. New York Jets ($5,000)
Bill Belichick has shown great success against rookie quarterbacks. The Patriots’ defense made a lot of upgrades over the offseason. Belichick is 21-6 against rookie quarterbacks since taking over the head coaching job in New England.
Luckily for Zach Wilson and the New York Jets, the game is at home. Belichick is a perfect 13-0 against rookie quarterbacks at Foxboro. New England sacked Tua Tagovailoa twice last week and intercepted a pass. That performance brought home five fantasy points. Wilson and the Jets could be in for a long game Sunday afternoon.
