The NFL officially revealed the rosters for this year’s Pro Bowl, and Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, is one player that many believe was left out.

With 42 touchdowns overall, Allen leads the NFL and the AFC by 13. With fifteen, he and Jalen Hurts are tied for the most running touchdowns by a quarterback in a single season. This season, he has 3,947 throwing yards as well.

After Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagoviloa were chosen for the roster ahead of Allen, Fox Sports radio presenter Colin Cowherd believes that the Pro Bowl is a farce.

After Mahomes was chosen over Colin Cowherd, Cowherd declared he “can’t take the Pro Bowl seriously”.

“NFL does so many things right, [but] the Pro Bowl is not one of them,” he stated. “With 42 touchdowns, Josh Allen leads the NFL, yet he was not selected for the Pro Bowl. if the Bills triumph this weekend over Miami. They should be the second seed, in my opinion.”

Afterwards, he said, “Mahomes made it too, despite having the worst year of his career. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes each have 27 throwing touchdowns. Mahomes has 0 running touchdowns while Allen has 15. Josh Allen outscored Mahomes in their matchup, totaling 15 more touchdowns. Given that both teams have 10 and 6 turnovers, the ratio is reasonable.”

Although every season there are snubs, there are a few reasons why Allen might not have made the Pro Bowl.
There are a few explanations for Allen’s exclusion from the Pro Bowl roster.
